This could potentially be the best burger i have had in a long time from… Located in La Jolla’s famed Bird Rock community, Beaumont’s is the perfect restaurant to dine, have cocktails, listen to live music or simply hang out. A favorite by locals and non-locals alike, it’s no wonder why San Diego Home Garden Life Styles “Sizzle” described Beaumont’s as, “… a favorite for the local in La Jolla’s Bird Rock area…” Beaumonts is an American style eatery with a variety of different menu options from soups, seafood, Thai and good old fashion burgers. I HIGHLY recommend the Beaumont burger is a ½ lb Three-Meat Blend / Sun Dried Tomato / Balsamic Glazed Onions / Feta / Basil Aioli 13 simply delicioous. Beaumont s is a place of its own – with fabulous food, top-rate entertainment, a swanky interior and plenty of parking too!

Located on the corner of 5th street in the heart of the Gaslamp, Oserta Waterhouse is your premiere destination for fresh, gourmet seafood, aged meats and handmade pastas from the culinary traditions of Europe, America and the Pacific Rim.  Also featured are fresh oysters, caviar’s and an ice bar with an extensive selection of vodka. As you walk in you will be greeted by a friendly hostess who will happily seat you at a booth or table upstairs or downstairs.  You will also notice a girl who appears to be base jumping from the 2nd floor of their indoor waterfall, don’t be alarmed though its just her job although I am not quite sure what she does.  A dim lit very well decorated restaurant where you can enjoy a quiet peaceful meal in the heart of downtown.  My favorite dish are the  pork chops which are fresh herb roasted and finished with brown sugar and apple-smoked bacon demi-glaze served with corn mashed potatoes. Oserta grille is a great atmosphere for you and your significant other to enjoy a flavorful dinner.  The beauty of Oserta is that that the menu is so broad you can go there on those days where you don’t know exactly what you are craving and satisfy your hunger.  There isn’t much as far as desserts go but don’t worry you are in walking distance of all the sweets the Gaslamp district hast to offer.

 Tractor Room

3687 Fifth Ave

San Diego CA 92103

Tractor roomTractor  room by the sound of the name it was a place i probably would have easily passed up.  But like the old addage says never judge a book by its cover.  Its a very romantic setting small and peaceful.  The service was a little slow at first but it picked up as the night went on.  They start you off with a delicious cornbread appetizer.  Then offer a variety of different exotic dishes.  The presentation of the meal almost makes you not even want to eat it, i wanted to take a picture and frame it.  Doing that though would be a terrible mistake because the food is very flavorful.  Although i must say for a smaller establishment that isnt extremely well known it is a bit over priced.  All in all i would reccomend this restaurant for all to try.

Mortons Steak House

The Harbor Club
285 J Street
San Diego, CA 92101

P. 619.696.3369

With San Diego being the melting pot that it is, there is a wide variety of great restaurants that can go undiscovered. It would be unfair for us to keep all this delicious food to ourselves so we are bringing it to you! Today our feature is Mortons Steak House. Morton’s Steakhouse is one of the finest steak establishments. We are very lucky to have one here in San Diego. If you have never dined at Morton’s I would suggest treating yourself, after all you’ve worked hard for it. The atmosphere is pleasurable and they offer several different dining rooms to set the mood . With classical music softly serenading you as you eat the environment is very relaxed yet upscale, remember to dress appropriately.
To begin your feast you will start with delicious French Onion Bread freshly baked, I probably could eat this bread with every course. The perfectly aged steaks are USDA prime and will almost melt in your mouth and the fresh seafood is nothing to complain about. All cuts are perfectly prepared and will exceed your expectations. The extensive wine and spirit menu complements of the offerings well. As they say you get what you pay for and the steaks and treatment you receive it is a bit pricey well worth it.

Rei De Gado

939 4th Ave
San Diego, CA 92101-6123
(619) 702-8464

There is an old adage that says quality is better than quantity but at Rei De Gado Chucharissca there is no shortage of either.  Located in the Gaslamp District of downtown San Diego Rei De Gado is a extravagant Brazilian buffet style restaurant with hints of Korea.  The atmosphere rivals that of any of downtown restaurant.

Upon arriving you are greeted by a friendly host and serenaded by a live pianist. The dimly lit atmosphere makes it all the more romantic.  As you sit down a friendly server will bring you any drink you desire from the full bar.  You can then start your meal by going to the buffet where they offer a variety of different sides such as scalloped potatoes, fresh baked rolls, and all the finest and freshest salads they have to offer.  As you make your way back from choosing from the variety of different side dishes you will notice a peg with green side and red side, when the green side is up its the indicator for them to bring you the finest meats Brazil has to offer.  There are more than 40 different salads, side dishes, and meat selections to choose from.   To stop the waiters from bringing you all this exotic meat simply flip your peg over to the red side indicating you can take no more. Be sure to save your room in your stomach for some delicious dessert.   The price is a little steep for this delicious meal but I guarantee you will not find a better buffet in the city.
