Taste of Tuesday: Carvers Steak House

Carvers Steak House:

In these stressful economic times people are always trying to find a good deal. Well, we’ve found it!  Carvers Steak House in Rancho Bernardo has without a doubt the best deal in the city.  Carvers is known as the prime rib headquarters. This award winning steak house is committed to the tradition of the big-city steakhouse without the big-city price or the big-city drive.  Carvers has been voted one of North San Diego County ‘s Finest Steakhouses five years running.

The dim lit restaurant feels like an old mountain retreat and every Tuesday Carvers offers “Ten dollar Tuesday’s.”  It’s your choice of three main entrees, prime rib, 6 oz filet, or a 6 ounce salmon, and they also offer lobster tail

for an additional $10.  With your entree comes steamed vegetables and mashed potatoes.  Also available for only $10 is a bottle of cabernet or chardonnay Its not often you can go to an award winning steak house and get a meal for two for under $30.   I would encourage everyone to check it out you won’t be disappointed.

When you sit down a getaway is exactly what you can do.  Depending on what day you go you will enjoy a quite & delicious meal.  As mentioned before they are known for their steaks so don’t go unless you enjoy some old fashioned meat potatoes and vegetables.  The steaks are cooked to perfection but make sure to save room in your stomach for dessert.  They also have live entertainment as well as a full bar all under one roof.  Not only is food delicious but the service excellent.
